Job Summary
Huntington seeks a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Aviation Captain to ensure the safe, efficient, and discreet transportation of company executives and guests. This critical role demands an unwavering commitment to safety, operational excellence, and adherence to the highest professional standards in corporate flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and executes safe and efficient flight operations, ensuring strict compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, and best industry practices.
- Fosters effective communication and collaboration with flight crew, ground staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Maintains an exceptional level of technical proficiency and in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, performance, and all applicable aviation regulations.
- Conducts comprehensive pre-flight checks, briefings, and post-flight debriefings; continuously monitors weather conditions and NOTAMs to ensure optimal flight safety.
- Manages and reconciles all aviation-related expenses with meticulous accuracy.
- Ensures the aircraft interior is impeccably cleaned, provisioned, and prepared for each flight.
- Accurately completes all required flight documentation.
- Provides maintenance support as needed and assists with essential aviation database updates.
- Maintains on-call availability to respond to short-notice flight assignments, including those on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of related aviation experience.
- Challenger 300/350 (CL30) Type Rating.
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Minimum of 4,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours of multi-engine turbine time.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command.
- Meets FAR 61.56, FAR 61.57, and FAR 61.58 currency requirements.
- Ability to maintain a valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate as per FAR Part 61.
- Valid FCC Radio License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation or a related field.
- Extensive experience operating jet aircraft under FAR Part 91 regulations.
- Possession of a valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel internationally.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
