Pilot in Command – CL350 Float Program
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command for its CL350 Float Program. Purpose of the Position:
The Pilot in Command will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the CL350 aircraft, ensuring the well-being and comfort of all passengers. This includes comprehensive cabin safety and service, proficiency in emergency and abnormal procedures, and thorough knowledge of all cabin systems. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Pilot and will collaborate closely with the assigned PIC for each scheduled trip.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
- Adherence to all company and regulatory requirements for crewing and trip assignments.
- Meticulous completion of flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each flight.
- Utilization of Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to proactively mitigate operational risks.
- Strict compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and effective coordination with company personnel. Acting as the Grounds and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Comprehensive pre-flight aircraft checks, including maintenance status verification and accurate recording of all discrepancies according to SOPs.
- Oversight of all aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen), ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Delivery of comprehensive passenger briefings, adhering to company policy and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service tailored to individual needs, including those with physical challenges.
- Effective communication with crew and support personnel using Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) techniques during all phases of operation.
Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provision of superior service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying and addressing service improvement opportunities.
- Collaborative teamwork with crew members and internal partners to maintain consistent service excellence. Effective conflict resolution and challenge management.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintenance of all regulatory and company-required training and recency requirements.
- Adherence to the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and timely reporting of safety concerns or non-compliance issues through established channels.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- 4-6 years of experience.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- CL300/350 type rating is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
