Longreach Aviation is pleased to present an exciting opportunity to join Xiamen Airlines as a B787 Captain, based in the picturesque coastal city of Xiamen, China. Xiamen, consistently ranked among the top 5 cities in China for air quality, is a vibrant and modern metropolis.
Xiamen Air, a "Five Star Global Airline" according to the 2021 Official Airline Ratings by APEX, operates a fleet of 163 aircraft with nearly 400 routes to and from over 50 major cities globally, including Hong Kong, New York, and Sydney. As part of its fleet expansion, Xiamen currently operates a dozen of the new Dreamliner B787-8 and B787-9 across four continents, with additional B787s on order.
This opportunity presents a 3-year contract with exceptional remuneration, including the potential for a financial performance bonus. While currently non-commuting and based in Xiamen due to COVID-19 restrictions, all income is net of Chinese taxes. Xiamen Airlines pays all Chinese income taxes, and all crew members enjoy access to Longreach Loss of Income and Life Insurance policies underwritten by Lloyds of London.
