Exceptional Boeing 787 Captain Opportunities with Xiamen Airlines – Based in Xiamen, China

Longreach Aviation is pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for experienced Boeing 787 Captains to join Xiamen Airlines, based in the vibrant coastal city of Xiamen, China. Xiamen, consistently ranked among China's top five cities for air quality, offers a clean and attractive living environment.

Xiamen Airlines, a Five-Star Global Airline (2021 APEX Official Airline Ratings), operates a diverse fleet of aircraft, servicing numerous routes to major cities worldwide. As part of a significant fleet expansion, Xiamen Airlines now operates a growing number of the technologically advanced Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliners across four continents, with further aircraft on order.

Contract Details and Remuneration:

Three-year contracts are offered, providing competitive remuneration and the potential for substantial financial performance bonuses. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, contracts are currently non-commuting and based in Xiamen. All income is net of Chinese taxes, which are paid by Xiamen Airlines. Comprehensive Loss of Income and Life Insurance, underwritten by Lloyds of London, is provided to all crew members.

Salary and Benefits (B787 Captain – Non-Commuting):

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Currently operating as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on a Boeing 777/787, or
2. Currently operating as PIC on a Boeing 737 with a CAAC license.
3. Minimum 2,000 hours multi-crew, multi-jet experience.
4. Minimum 5,000 total flight hours.
5. Minimum 500 hours and one year of experience as PIC on a multi-crew jet.
6. Boeing 777/787 Captain experience within the last 12 months, or Boeing 737 Captain experience within the last 12 months.
7. Maximum age of 54 at contract start.
8. CAAC ATPL holder.
9. Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
10. ICAO English Level 4 or above.
