Longreach Aviation is seeking experienced and highly skilled B787 Captains to join Xiamen Air, based in the vibrant coastal city of Xiamen, China. Xiamen, a recipient of the "Five Star Global Airline" ranking, operates a modern fleet of 163 aircraft, serving numerous major destinations worldwide. This position offers a unique opportunity to pilot the new Dreamliner B787-8 and B787-9 aircraft within a rapidly expanding international network.
This is a non-commuting, three-year contract based in Xiamen, offering a comprehensive compensation package including a competitive monthly basic salary of RMB12,000, an hourly fee of USD230/hr, and various allowances, including a seniority allowance ranging from USD600 to USD1,200 per month, and safety bonus at USD25/hr. The estimated monthly value after tax is approximately USD15,600 at 50 flying hours per month. Additional benefits include staff tickets and sick leave, and are supplemented by Longreach Loss of Income and Life Insurance policies underwritten by Lloyds of London. All Chinese income taxes are covered by Xiamen Airlines, and the contract includes 42 days of annual leave.
To be considered, candidates must meet the following requirements: currently operating as Pilot in Command (PIC) on B777/B787, or currently operating as PIC on B737 with a CAAC license; possess a minimum of 2,000 hours of multi-crew multi-jet experience; a minimum of 5,000 hours total flight time; a minimum of 500 hours and one year of experience as PIC on a multi-crew jet; have flown the B777/B787 or B737 as Captain within the preceding 12 months; be no older than 54 years of age at contract commencement; hold a CAAC ATPL; a valid First Class Medical certificate, and possess ICAO English Level 4 or above proficiency.
