Job Title: First Officer / Co-Pilot (B737-600NG)

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Amentum is seeking a professional and highly qualified First Officer / Co-Pilot to serve as Second in Command (SIC) of B737-600NG aircraft operations. This position ensures the safe and efficient transport of passengers and cargo while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) in all flight operations and assume command responsibilities in the event of PIC incapacitation.
  • Execute duties as Pilot Flying (PF) or Pilot Monitoring (PM) during all flight phases.
  • Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, cargo, and the aircraft at all times.
  • Review maintenance logs, flight plans, weather reports, NOTAMs, and pilot information files prior to departure.
  • Compute precise aircraft weight, balance, and takeoff/landing data.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of FARs, AIM, FCOM, FCTM, QRH, SPM, and FOM manuals.
  • Ensure full compliance with Air Traffic Control (ATC) directives and company policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: US DOT/FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with B737 Type rating (no restrictions); current US DOT/FAA First Class Medical Certificate (with EKG if over age 39).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1,500 total in-seat hours as a crewmember in fixed-wing powered aircraft.
  • Clearance/Access: Must hold a US DOD TS/SCI security clearance and possess a current US DHS/TSA LAS airport badge.
  • Compliance: Must maintain training and checking currency per 14 CFR Part 121 and company policy.
  • Legal: Must be a US Citizen and possess a current state-issued Driver’s License. Must comply with all US DOT 14 CFR requirements (Parts 60, 61, 67, 117, 120, and 121), including age 65 limits as amended.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role operates primarily within a jet cockpit environment characterized by high noise levels, vibration, and temperature fluctuations. The position involves sedentary work with intermittent physical requirements such as climbing, bending, and stretching. Candidates must be capable of managing the mental and physical stress associated with in-flight emergencies, inclement weather, and sensory demands.

Compensation and Benefits
