Role Overview
CAE is seeking a professional B737 Simulator and Ground School Instructor to join the Training Department in Phoenix, Arizona. This individual will deliver comprehensive simulator and classroom-based flight training, fostering a learning environment that is professional, inclusive, and focused on customer success.
Primary Responsibilities

Deliver instruction for initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent flight training programs in compliance with FAA, Transport Canada, and established company policies.

Conduct flight training activities strictly adhering to the CAE 14 CFR Part 142 Training Center Manual.

Ensure all training sessions, evaluations, and checks are accurately documented and completed according to regulatory requirements.

Maintain personal instructor proficiency and mandatory qualifications as required by 14 CFR Part 142.

Incorporate Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles throughout all training modules.

Monitor and support administrative programs related to various flight training sectors as needed.

Perform daily pre-training inspections to ensure all equipment and materials are ready for instruction.

Execute additional duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
Minimum Qualifications

Legal authorization to live and work in the United States.

Fluency in the English language, including written and spoken communication.

An unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.

At least one unrestricted Pilot-in-Command (PIC) type rating (free of limitations other than circling approach; no SOE limitations).

A minimum of two (2) years of experience operating under FAR Part 121.

General computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.

Willingness to participate in the CAE DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.

Proven commitment to safety, quality, and professional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a flight simulator instructor.

Experience in delivering ground school curriculum or other structured pilot training programs.
Physical Requirements

Frequent ascending or descending of ladders, stairs, and ramps.

Occasional movement into various environments, including confined spaces.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods, including standing or sitting.

Occasional adjustment or movement of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, or fingers.
