Position Overview
Jet Linx is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to operate its Midsize jet aircraft, specifically the Hawker 800XP/900XP. This critical role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all flight missions. The successful candidate is expected to reside within a two-hour call-out radius of the Atlanta base or be willing to relocate to meet this operational requirement. The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot, serving as a cornerstone for maintaining superior operational standards.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Prepares for and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times meticulously to comply with both company policies and all applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains consistent and clear communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Manages and maintains electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications, ensuring they are current and fully functional.
- Ensures all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current, accurate, and readily accessible for all flights.
- Maintains a current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate at all times.
- Demonstrates strong, proactive decision-making skills under all operational scenarios, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
Prospective Pilot in Command candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:
- Total Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Hawker 800XP/900XP): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type (Hawker 800XP/900XP): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Other Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the immediate ability to obtain one.
- A current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- An FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is required.
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in the Hawker 800XP/900XP type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. is essential.
- A current, valid passport with unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with all random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Ability to consent to and successfully pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational demands and flight schedules require.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The majority of work is conducted in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals, requiring adaptability to various environments.
- Physical ability to frequently move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits

The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary offered is contingent upon factors such as geographic location, specific aircraft size (crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
