Pilatus PC-24 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) - Phoenix Sky Harbor, AZ
Cutter Aviation is actively seeking an energetic and highly skilled aviation professional to fulfill the pivotal role of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for a newly acquired Pilatus PC-24. Based at our Phoenix Sky Harbor location, this position encompasses single-pilot operations supporting owner travel requirements and executing on-demand charter flights. As PIC, the incumbent will serve as the primary external representative of Cutter Aviation, requiring exceptional relationship-building and communication skills to deliver world-class customer service to aircraft owners, clients, and business partners. This role also necessitates effective liaison with Cutter Flight Management across all phases of aircraft operations and support, acting as a key ambassador to the business aviation community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to safety in all aspects of flight and ground operations.
- Consistently provide world-class customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and positive experiences.
- Adhere to a fixed 15-day work schedule while exhibiting flexibility and willingness to support on-demand operations, including adaptation to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command for Pilatus PC-24 flights under both Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter regulations.
- Diligently follow established procedures for reporting any operational irregularities during flights or ground checks, and ensure meticulous maintenance of all required records.
- Ensure strict compliance with all FAA regulations pertaining to actual flight operations, pilot qualifications, currency requirements, fitness for flight, and aircraft airworthiness.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate, or demonstrate the ability to qualify for one.
- Maintain a clean record with no accidents, incidents, or FAA sanctions within the past five years.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of general aviation aircraft, their service requirements, and the specific needs of crews and passengers.
- Exhibit excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Possess the ability to effectively train a Second-in-Command (SIC) pilot to perform their duties proficiently.
- Exhibit a sincere desire to assist customers and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Be a self-starter with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Previous Turbojet Type Rating and/or substantial turboprop experience is highly preferred.
Desired Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:
- 3,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours
- 250 PIC Hours in Turbine-Powered Aircraft
- Previous experience in Part 135 on-demand charter operations.
- Prior FSI or Simuflite Training.
