Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality flight training in both flight simulator environments and ground school settings, strictly adhering to appropriate regulatory agency guidelines, CAE-approved curriculum, and specific customer requirements.
- Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), adeptly guiding clients through their comprehensive training programs.
- Conduct thorough and professional pre-flight and post-flight simulator briefings in full compliance with CAE's established standards.
- Provide simulator, flight, or classroom instruction across one or more assigned aircraft types for the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
- Perform essential administrative duties, including meticulous completion of training records, recommending remedial training as necessary, and diligently tracking individual instructional qualifications and activity.
- Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the development of curricula and courseware when required by evolving business needs.
- After 1.5 years of dedicated service, and contingent upon business requirements, designated Instructor Pilots are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and a customer contract check airman.

Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a minimum of 3,000 flight hours.
- Holding an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching others, supported by strong communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and various internet-based programs.
- Willingness to participate in CAE’s Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug & Alcohol testing program.
- Authorization to live and work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- PC-24 Type Rating.
- Previous experience as a Part 142 Instructor and/or Training Center Evaluator (TCE).
- Prior experience in FAR 135 flight operations.
- Experience flying business aircraft is considered a significant advantage.
Physical Requirements of the Role
This Instructor Pilot role demands specific physical capabilities to effectively perform essential duties:
- Possession of the physical dexterity required for tasks involving precise hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to sit comfortably in a confined space for durations of 4-6 hours with limited breaks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, potentially up to 10 hours, with limited breaks.
- Capability to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn as necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
