Pilot-in-Command (PIC) - PC-24 Pilatus
Cutter Aviation is actively seeking an energetic and highly knowledgeable aviation professional to fulfill the role of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for a new PC-24 Pilatus aircraft. Based at the esteemed Phoenix Sky Harbor location, this pivotal position involves single-pilot operations supporting both the owner's travel requirements and on-demand charter flying.
As the primary representative of Cutter Aviation, the PIC is expected to be an exceptional relationship builder and communicator, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to delivering world-class customer service to both the aircraft owner and all clients. The role also necessitates seamless liaison with Cutter Flight Management regarding all aspects of aircraft operations and support. This individual will serve as the external ambassador for the company to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the broader business aviation community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide world-class service with an uncompromising commitment to safety.
- Adhere to a fixed 15-day work schedule while demonstrating flexibility and willingness to cover on-demand operations.
- Adapt to rotating schedules and respond to short-notice callouts.
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command on the PC-24 Pilatus for both Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter operations.
- Diligently follow established procedures for reporting any irregularities encountered during flights or ground checks, and meticulously maintain all necessary records.
- Ensure strict compliance with all FAA regulations pertaining to actual flight operations, pilot qualifications, currency requirements, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance.
- Execute additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP).
- Current First Class Medical Certificate or the ability to qualify for one.
- No record of accidents, incidents, or sanctions within the past five years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general aviation aircraft, their service requirements, and the specific needs of crews and passengers.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively train a Second-in-Command (SIC) pilot to properly perform their functions.
- A sincere desire to assist customers and contribute positively as part of a cohesive team.
- Demonstrated ability as a self-starter who can work effectively and independently.
- Exceptional ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- Previous turbojet type rating and/or turboprop experience.
- A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 1,500 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
- A minimum of 250 PIC hours in turbine-powered aircraft.
- Prior experience in on-demand charter operations.
- Previous FSI (FlightSafety International) or SimuFlite training.
Additional Requirements
- Possession of a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screening test.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
