The Director of Flight Operations reports to the VP of Operations and is responsible for designing infrastructure that supports the safe, efficient, and legal execution of flight operations. The successful candidate will develop operational solutions, manage supervisory staff, and serve as the primary point of contact for pilots regarding operational control. Responsibilities include aircraft performance oversight, rigorous record keeping, FAA relations, and talent acquisition.
This is a safety-sensitive position involving work on project sites and heavy manufacturing facilities with potential life-threatening hazards. Duties may include working at heights, in confined spaces, and around heavy equipment. The role may require weekend and night work. Due to the company's status as a Federal Contractor, this position is subject to stringent drug testing and compliance policies.
