Position Overview: PC-24 Instructor Pilot
CAE is seeking a dedicated PC-24 Instructor Pilot to facilitate world-class simulator and ground school instruction. The successful candidate will guide clients through CAE-approved curricula, ensuring adherence to rigorous regulatory standards while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is instrumental in developing highly skilled, confident pilots within a professional learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory standards, CAE curriculum, and specific customer requirements.

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), guiding clients through all phases of training, including license acquisition, type ratings, and pilot qualifications.

Conduct professional pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.

Manage administrative duties, including maintaining accurate training records, providing remedial training recommendations, and monitoring instructor qualifications.

Collaborate on curriculum and courseware development as an SME when required.

Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after approximately 1.5 years of service, subject to business needs.

Maintain documentation in full compliance with CAE and FAA requirements.

Participate in training programs requiring international travel and extended stays.
Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or state-issued equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.

2–5 years of relevant professional experience.

Hold an unrestricted ATP certificate and one unrestricted PIC type rating.

Strong customer service orientation with excellent listening and presentation skills.

Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.

Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.

Ability to participate in the CAE DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol testing program.

Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

PC-24 Type Rating and/or existing instructor qualification.

Experience with FAR Part 135 operations.

Previous experience as a 142 Instructor or Training Center Evaluator.

Experience flying business aircraft.

Keen attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to constantly ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.

Must be able to occasionally move into various positions, including confined spaces.

Capacity to remain in stationary positions (standing or sitting) for prolonged periods.

Ability to move about to accomplish tasks and occasionally lift or adjust objects up to 20 pounds.

Ability to occasionally perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions.
