About the Role
flyADVANCED is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilatus PC-24 Second-in-Command (SIC) to join its growing flight operations team. This full-time flight crew position is based at New Castle Airport (KILG) in New Castle, Delaware, and offers the opportunity to support industry-leading safety standards and provide exceptional air transportation services.
The Pilatus PC-24 Second-in-Command (SIC) plays a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations while delivering a superior passenger experience. The successful candidate will act as a professional ambassador for flyADVANCED, collaborating closely with the Pilot in Command (PIC) to maintain an exemplary safety record and uphold the highest standards of service.

Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) during all phases of flight, including taxi, takeoff, cruise, and landing, strictly adhering to FAA regulations, OEM checklists, the flyADVANCED Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Support the PIC in conducting comprehensive passenger briefings, including itinerary reviews, weather updates, and essential safety information.

Provide concierge-level service to owners and passengers, ensuring a professional, comfortable, and safety-focused environment.

Contribute to efficient and on-time departures through effective preparation and coordination.

Maintain acute situational awareness and readiness to assist the PIC during both normal and emergency operations.

Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and assist with required maintenance documentation.

Continuously maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, company procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing professional competency.

Be prepared to operate flights that may include pets and passengers who smoke.

Perform additional duties as assigned by flight operations leadership.
Requirements
Candidates for the Second-in-Command (SIC) Pilatus PC-24 role must meet the following essential criteria:

Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.

Hold a current First-Class Medical Certificate.
-
Minimum of 1,000 hours total flight time.

Valid Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Multi-Engine rating.

Recent Pilatus PC-24 simulator-based training completed within the last 12 months.

Minimum age of 21 years.

Ability to reside within approximately two hours of the New Castle Airport (KILG) aircraft base.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also possess the following preferred qualifications, skills, and experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

3–5 years of aviation experience, preferably in Part 91 or Part 135 operations.

Prior turbine or jet aircraft experience.

Demonstrated strong communication and teamwork skills within a two-pilot flight deck environment.

Proven ability to provide exceptional passenger service while maintaining operational discipline and professionalism.

Valid driver’s license.
