Pilot in Command – Citation XLS/XLS+

Location: Commutable, USA (Must have access to multiple non-stop, direct flights to major hub airports daily.)

Position Summary

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for Light jet aircraft, supporting Part 91 and 135 flight operations. Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company and CFR requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and reporting requirements.
  • Manage and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.
  • Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
  • Maintain a valid 1st Class medical certificate.
  • Exercise proactive, decisive leadership in all flight operations.
  • Uphold Jet Linx core values in all professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Total Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument: 300 hours

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • ATP certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid 1st Class medical certificate and FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Current passport and ability to travel without restriction to Canada and Caribbean countries.
  • U.S. driver's license.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Preferred: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to move up to 50 pounds frequently; work performed primarily in and around aircraft and terminals; availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft size, relevant education, training, and experience.
