Second in Command - Challenger 300/350
Jet Linx seeks an experienced and dedicated Second in Command (SIC) to join our team in Omaha, NE, operating Super Midsize jet aircraft under Part 91 and 135 regulations. This is a full-time position requiring residency within a 2-hour call out time of the Omaha base, or a willingness to relocate.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Base Chief Pilot, the SIC plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled aviator with a strong commitment to adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 2500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours
- Turbine: 100 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
Essential Functions:
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently operate and maintain electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure the ongoing currency of navigation charts, publications, and company manuals.
- Maintain a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills in all aspects of flight operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
- Ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
Other Requirements:
- Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Hold a current passport.
- Maintain a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Hold a valid FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Demonstrate unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Consent to and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Be comfortable working in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
