Second in Command - Challenger 300
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly qualified Second in Command pilot for a Challenger 300 aircraft based in Jacksonville, FL (KJAX). This position requires residing within a 1-2 hour drive of Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for passenger welfare, cabin safety and service, and must demonstrate proficiency in abnormal and emergency procedures, as well as cabin systems and operations. This four-pilot account is supported by a Maintenance Technician. The Second in Command will report to the Chief Pilot for the execution of flight assignments and to the Pilot in Command (PIC) for duties specific to each flight.
Responsibilities:
- Execute pilot duties in accordance with the Company General Operations Manual (GOM), FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other relevant instructions.
- Maintain strict compliance with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, reporting any safety, security, or quality concerns.
- Conduct post-flight aircraft interior checks, including removing debris, ice, catering items, and reporting any discrepancies to the PIC.
- Procure necessary cabin items and catering as directed by the Flight Operations Center, while providing the highest standards of customer service.
- Coordinate work schedules and changes with the Chief Pilot, meticulously logging flight and duty times, and reporting all external commercial flying activities.
- Submit a copy of the First Class Medical Certificate to the Flight Operations Training Department by the twentieth of each month.
Required Experience:
2-4 years of relevant aviation experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs):
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-level tasks.
- Demonstrated proactive decision-making abilities.
- Possession of a valid Medical certificate.
- Ability to obtain an FAA Type rating in the applicable Fleet type.
- Adherence to service standards in a dynamic and regulated environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Minimum Flight Hour Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 2500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
- Jet: 250 hours
- Turbine Engine: 100 hours
- Time in Type: 50 hours
