Challenger 300 Pilot in Command (PIC) | Super Midsize Jet Captain
Full-Time Position Based in Dallas, Texas
Jet Linx is actively seeking highly qualified candidates for the full-time position of Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Super Midsize Challenger 300 jet aircraft. This demanding role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations based in Dallas, Texas. Prospective Captains must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the designated home base to ensure maximum operational readiness.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This critical leadership role mandates meticulous preparation and the execution of safe, efficient flight operations, strictly adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The Pilot in Command is responsible for the following core duties:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in strict compliance with CFRs and company policy.
- Maintain continuous, reliable communication regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and required pre- and post-flight documentation.
- Expertly manage Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Verify that all navigation charts, flight publications, and company manuals are current and accessible.
- Uphold a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibit superior, proactive decision-making abilities under all operational conditions.
- Represent Jet Linx’s core values in every professional interaction.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Candidates must meet or exceed the following flight hour requirements to be considered for this Captain position:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total PIC: 2,000 hours
- Total PIC in Type (Challenger 300): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC: 1,000 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
- Total Jet: 1,500 hours
- Total Jet PIC: 500 hours
Other Qualifications and Expectations
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- The ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is mandatory.
- Possession of a current FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required by regulation.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally to all European Union (EU), Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully complete and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- The ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including working nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess a current passport and the legal ability to work in the US.
- Must be capable of moving up to 50 pounds frequently, as the majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
Highly Desired Qualifications
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type (Challenger 300) completed within the last 24 months is strongly preferred.

The starting base annual salary for this Captain position ranges attractively from $160,000 to $245,000, commensurate with the candidate’s geographic location, aircraft type, relevant experience, and specialized training.
