Challenger 300 Captain Position – Opa Locka, FL

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Challenger 300 Captain to join its operations based at Opa Locka Executive Airport (KOPF). The successful candidate will exemplify excellence in all aspects of flight operations while contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused team environment. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to:

Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures.
Thorough pre-flight inspections, consistent with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Comprehensive review of weather conditions and airport facilities along the planned route, including designated alternate airports.
Verification of aircraft maintenance status prior to each flight.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew members.
Meticulous completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.

Qualifications:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-engine land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-engine land PIC time: 500 hours
Turbojet experience: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

Type rating on a Challenger 300 or comparable aircraft.
Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
Availability for on-call duties.
Completion of annual ICAO International procedures training.
Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF, or willingness to relocate.

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, commensurate with experience, geographic location, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
