Pilot in Command – Super Midsize Jet Aircraft

Jet Linx is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to operate its super midsize jet aircraft. This role encompasses both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out radius of their designated home base.

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring all flights are conducted in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Minimum Requirements

  • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
  • Total PIC in Type: 250 hours
  • Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbine Flight Time: 1,000 hours
  • Total Turbine PIC: 1,000 hours
  • Total Instrument: 300 hours
  • Total Jet Flight Time: 1,500 hours
  • Total Jet PIC: 500 hours

Essential Functions

  • Adherence to company and CFR duty, flight, and rest time regulations.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the company for standby duty, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reporting.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and management of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
  • Ensures all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily available.
  • Maintains a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Demonstrates strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.
  • Exhibits Jet Linx's core values in all interactions, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Other Requirements

  • Preference for candidates with initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the past 24 months.
  • Ability to secure a U.S. driver's license.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid, current passport.
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Holds a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Restricted Radio License.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • The majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
