Challenger 300 Captain - Van Nuys, CA

A highly respected aviation organization seeks a dedicated and experienced Captain to assume command of a Challenger 300 aircraft, ensuring the safe, efficient, and exceptional transportation of its valued clients. This is a full-time, senior-level position based in Van Nuys, California, requiring on-site work.

Responsibilities:

The Challenger 300 Captain will bear full responsibility for the safe and proficient operation of the aircraft. This encompasses meticulous flight planning, effective crew management, and strict adherence to all applicable FAA regulations. The Captain will further be committed to delivering an exemplary flight experience, consistently maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Candidates must reside within a one-hour commute of Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) or be prepared to relocate; relocation assistance will be considered for highly qualified applicants.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
• Current Type Rating in the Challenger 300 is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, with at least 1,500 hours accrued as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
• Minimum of 500 hours of experience in turbine-powered aircraft.
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Residency within a one-hour commute of Van Nuys Airport (KVNY), California, or willingness to relocate to the area.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with passengers, fellow crew members, and ground staff.
• A strong work ethic, a positive and proactive attitude, and an unwavering commitment to upholding the highest operational standards of safety and customer service.

Experience:

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant aviation experience is required for this senior-level position.
