Executive Jet Management Pilot Positions – Challenger 300 (Dallas, TX)
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks highly qualified Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and Second-in-Command (SIC) candidates for a Challenger 300 based in Dallas, TX (KDAL). While the aircraft will conduct a limited amount of Part 135 charter operations, the majority of flight time will be dedicated to supporting the aircraft owner(s).

Pilot Responsibilities:
The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all company and regulatory standards while providing superior customer service. The SIC is accountable to the Chief Pilot and assigned PIC for all duties related to the safe and efficient execution of flight assignments. Key responsibilities include:
Safe Flight Operations:
- Ensuring crew assignments comply with regulations;
- Conducting thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance;
- Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefings to mitigate risks;
- Adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
- Managing ground and in-flight security;
- Completing pre-flight inspections and reporting discrepancies;
- Overseeing aircraft servicing;
- Conducting passenger briefings;
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) techniques.
Exceptional Service:
- Providing outstanding service to owners and passengers;
- Proactively identifying and addressing service improvements;
- Collaborating with crew and internal partners to ensure consistent service excellence;
- Effectively resolving conflicts.
Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintaining current training and certifications;
- Adhering to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting safety concerns appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Prior corporate/business aviation experience is essential.
- A Challenger 300 FAA type rating is strongly preferred.
- International flight experience is highly desirable.
Minimum Time Requirements:
PIC:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
SIC:
- Total flight time: 2500 hours minimum
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
- Jet: 250 hours
- Turbine Engine: 100 hours
- ATP Certificate required
