Lead Pilot in Command - Challenger 300

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly qualified Lead Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Challenger 300 aircraft based in Jacksonville, Florida (KJAX). This position is part of a four-pilot operation under Part 135 regulations, supported by a dedicated maintenance technician.

The successful candidate will serve as a peer leader within a designated flight department, demonstrating exceptional crew resource management skills, unwavering commitment to client service, and meticulous attention to administrative duties. Active participation in the flight schedule and adherence to all PIC responsibilities are essential. The role requires extensive international experience and a global perspective. Candidates must reside within a two-hour radius of KJAX. The annual flight schedule encompasses approximately 400 hours, requiring flexibility to accommodate a dynamic operational tempo.

Essential Qualifications:

• Possession of an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is strongly preferred.
• FAA Type Rating for the Challenger 300 aircraft.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
• Minimum 3500 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1500 hours in Multi-Engine Land (MEL) aircraft.
• Minimum 2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• Minimum 500 hours PIC in MEL aircraft.
• Minimum 300 hours of instrument flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours of jet flight time.
