Jet Linx Seeks Challenger 300 Pilot in Command (Chicago, IL)
Jet Linx, a leader in private aviation, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pilot in Command to join our team in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position operating a Challenger 300 aircraft for both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. Candidates must live, or be willing to relocate, within a 2-hour call out time of the Chicago base.
Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. The PIC will adhere to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures in the planning and execution of all flights.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC: 2000 hours
- Multi-Crew Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC: 1000 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
- Total Jet: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC: 500 hours
- PIC type rating in one or more turbojet aircraft
Essential Functions:
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policy and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently operate and maintain electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Exhibit strong, proactive decision-making skills in all situations.
- Consistently demonstrate Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- ATP (ability to obtain ATP).
- 1st Class Medical.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Prepared to work primarily in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
