Pilot in Command - Challenger 300
Jet Linx, a leader in private aviation, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command to join their team in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position operating a super-midsize jet aircraft under Part 91 and 135 flight operations.
Candidates must be willing to live, or relocate, within a 2-hour call out time of the Chicago base.
Position Summary:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The PIC reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and maintains a high level of professionalism and aviation expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC: 2000 hours
- Multi-Crew Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC: 1000 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
- Total Jet: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC: 500 hours
- PIC type rating in one or more turbojet aircraft
Essential Functions:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company policy and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Manage and maintain electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills.
- Exemplify Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
- ATP certification (or ability to obtain).
Other Requirements:
- Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- Hold a 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Possess an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug/alcohol testing.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Understanding that a majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
