VIP Flight Attendant - Van Nuys, CA
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department located in the Los Angeles, California area. This is a full-time opportunity to provide an exceptional level of personalized service, ensuring the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight. Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
- Greeting passengers and assisting with personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment and serving food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
- Directing and assisting passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verifying the working order of first aid kits and other emergency equipment.
- Securing the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administering basic first aid to passengers in distress, including CPR and AED.
- Reassuring passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
- Assisting passengers when entering or disembarking the aircraft, catering to the needs of children, the elderly, and disabled passengers.
- Performing preflight briefings.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets, reading material, and emergency equipment are onboard.
- Facilitating and managing VIP passenger requests for food and drinks.
- Shopping for and stocking specially requested items.
- Preparing food and beverages for passengers and crew.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
- Maintaining the aircraft in a flight-ready condition at all times.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar accredited program is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must complete an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates with training completed within the past 12 months.

- Culinary skills and culinary-specific training are preferred.
- Ability to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights.
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (considering health and visa status).
- Proficiency in operating Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features.
