Position Summary:
The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all assigned flights, prioritizing safety, security, and exceptional service. Reporting to the Lead Captain, the chosen candidate will exercise Pilot in Command authority on all assigned flights, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
The Captain's responsibilities encompass all aspects of flight operation, including:
- Flight Planning and Execution: Determining departure times and routes, considering weather and operational constraints, and ensuring adherence to all federal, local, and company regulations.
- Safety and Risk Management: Proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards, making critical decisions to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew.
- Aircraft Systems Expertise: Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all aircraft systems, including emergency procedures, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating with crew members, dispatch, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless flight operations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately completing all required paperwork and reports, including flight logs, discrepancy reports, and passenger manifests.
- Mentorship and Training: Providing guidance and support to the Second in Command, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum Flight Experience:
- 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command
- 1500 hours Turbojet
- 1500 hours Turbine time
- 100 hours Night
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument
- 5 years of aviation experience.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and travel extensively worldwide.
- Valid driver's license.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
