Requirements
Candidates for the Direct Entry Commander position must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3,500 hours in FAR/CS 25 aircraft under MP(A) operations, with at least 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Minimum age of 25 years, maximum age of 62 years.
- Valid passport, CH or EU-25/EFTA nationality without restrictions.
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a valid Instrument Rating (IR) and a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Completed secondary school education or vocational training.
- English language proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or higher.
- German language proficiency: fluent.
