Lead Captain – Gulfstream 500

Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, seeks a highly experienced and skilled Lead Captain to join its team based in Wichita, Kansas. This pivotal role demands exceptional leadership, a commitment to safety, and a proven track record of success in managing complex flight operations. The successful candidate will report directly to the regional chief pilot.

Position Summary:

The Lead Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of Gulfstream 500 aircraft. This includes exercising pilot-in-command authority, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, and mentoring junior crew members. The position requires extensive international travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Gulfstream 500 Type Rating.
Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
4,000 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
1,500 hours multi-engine land flight time.
2,000 hours pilot-in-command time.
1,500 hours turbojet flight time.
1,500 hours turbine flight time.
100 hours night flight time.
75 hours actual or simulated instrument flight time.
5 years of aviation experience.
Flexibility to work varied schedules and extensive international travel.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Minimum age 18 years.
