Key Responsibilities
The Challenger 350 Captain will undertake a comprehensive range of duties to ensure superior flight operations and customer service:
- Command and Control: Exercise full command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and strict compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems for the Challenger 350, operating with precision, expertly managing flight plans, and adapting seamlessly to changing conditions to guarantee a smooth and exceptional travel experience.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Collaborate closely with the Second in Command (SIC), providing guidance, imparting valuable knowledge, and fostering skill development to prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Safety and Security Leadership: Perform the functions of the In-flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the provisions of the 12.5 standard security program or private charter standard security program, as applicable. Conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate this duty to the SIC. Actively promote open communication on safety issues, diligently report hazards, and steadfastly uphold Jet Aviation’s unwavering commitment to a secure operating environment. Meticulously record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Administrative Acumen: Efficiently manage all trip documentation, meticulously maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork in strict adherence to company procedures.
- Brand Representation: Serve as a highly visible representative of Jet Aviation, consistently showcasing professionalism and unwavering dedication to the company's mission of delivering unparalleled service.
Qualifications
Required Credentials and Experience:
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP).
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
- At least 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A minimum of 1,500 hours multi-engine flight time.
- At least 500 hours turbojet flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours turbine flight time.
- At least 100 hours night flight time.
- A minimum of 75 hours of Simulated Instrument flight time.
- Demonstrated flexibility and availability to work a variable schedule to meet demanding flight mission profiles.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Work Environment and Compensation
What You'll Experience:
- Physical Requirements: The role demands regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional requirements for climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of objects up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, is expected. Candidates must maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
- Work Environment: Work will be conducted in a diverse range of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces. The position involves experiencing the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures, which may include occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes. Adaptability to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes within hangar settings is is essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this highly responsible position is $290,000 to $310,000 annually. Please note that this range represents an anticipation and is not a guaranteed offer of compensation. The final salary will be thoughtfully determined based on factors such as the candidate's extensive experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
