Pilot-in-Command (PIC) - Challenger 300
Gary Jet Center, Inc., a full-service aviation company located at Gary/Chicago Airport (KGYY), seeks a highly qualified Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for its Challenger 300 aircraft. The aircraft is utilized for Part 91 Owner Operations. Ideal candidates will reside within a two-hour radius of KGYY.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Company General Operating Manual (GOM), Flight Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manuals, and all other pertinent instructions.
- Ensure the safe and efficient execution of all flight assignments.
- Develop detailed flight plans, including obtaining necessary briefings regarding flight purpose, weather conditions, operating procedures, and specific instructions.
- Verify aircraft inspection, loading, equipment, and crew readiness for each flight.
- Supervise the loading and distribution of cargo and passengers, ensuring compliance with weight and balance limitations as outlined in applicable loading schedules, load computers, or the Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Maintain optimal altitude during flight, considering factors such as turbulence, oxygen requirements, and passenger comfort.
- Report directly to the Chief Pilot for all duties related to the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments.
Qualifications:
Certifications and Licenses:
- ATP Certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Current US Passport
- Challenger 300/350 Type Rating (preferred, but not required)
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 2,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 3,000 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet/Turbine: 1,000 hours
