Pilot-in-Command (PIC) - Challenger 300
Gary Jet Center, Inc. seeks a highly qualified and experienced Pilot-in-Command to operate a Challenger 300 aircraft based at Gary/Chicago Airport (KGYY). This position involves Part 91 Owner Operations. Candidates ideally reside within a two-hour radius of KGYY.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the Company General Operating Manual (GOM), Flight Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manuals, and other relevant instructions.
- Prioritizes the safe and efficient execution of all flight assignments.
- Plans flight itineraries, obtaining necessary briefing information regarding flight purpose, weather conditions, operating procedures, and special instructions.
- Ensures aircraft inspection, loading, equipment, and crew readiness for each flight assignment.
- Supervises cargo and passenger loading and distribution, verifying weight and balance compliance with prescribed limitations as outlined in loading schedules, load computer systems, or aircraft flight manuals.
- Conducts flight operations at optimal altitudes, considering turbulence, oxygen requirements, and passenger comfort.
- Reports directly to the Chief Pilot regarding the performance of assigned duties, ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments.
Qualifications:
Certifications and Licenses:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid US Passport
- Challenger 300/350 Type Rating (preferred, not required)
Minimum Experience:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 2,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 3,000 hours
- Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
- Jet/Turbine Flight Time: 1,000 hours
