About the Role
Freedom II is seeking an experienced and professional Embraer 170 Captain to join our esteemed flight crew. The successful candidate will assume the role of Pilot-in-Command, upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. This position requires a dedicated leader who will guide their crew, ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft from engine start to shutdown, and contribute positively to our Safety Management System and collaborative company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for the Embraer 170 aircraft, ensuring all flight operations comply with company policies and FAA regulations.
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership and crew resource management to foster effective communication and teamwork within the cockpit.
- Oversee all aspects of pre-flight planning, including comprehensive aircraft performance calculations, weather analysis, and fuel management.
- Coordinate effectively with flight operations, dispatch, and maintenance teams to guarantee on-time and efficient flight schedules.
- Exercise superior judgment and decision-making skills to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew.
- Act as a distinguished ambassador for Freedom II, representing the airline's commitment to excellence in every professional interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with multi-engine privileges.
- Current and valid EMB-170 Type Rating.
- A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Part 121 regulations and operations.
- Demonstrated leadership, sound judgment, and exceptional communication skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced operational environment with a collaborative mindset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must possess the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
- A clear record with no history of accidents, incidents, or criminal convictions.
