Position Summary: Embraer Legacy 500 Pilot
Executive Jet Management (EJM) is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot for an Embraer Legacy 500 aircraft based in Saint Paul, Minnesota (STP Airport). This integral role supports a dynamic Part 91 operation consisting of three aircraft and a team of seven pilots, bolstered by three dedicated Maintenance Technicians. This non-commutable position necessitates that the successful candidate reside within a convenient driving distance of St. Paul Airport.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Flight Operations & Safety Management:
- Ensuring meticulous compliance with all company and regulatory requirements for crewing and trip assignments.
- Executing comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each mission.
- Leading thorough pre-flight briefings using Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Adhering strictly to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating effectively with all relevant personnel.
- Serving as the designated Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator, as defined by company policy.
- Conducting exhaustive pre-flight inspections, verifying aircraft maintenance status, and ensuring mission readiness; accurately recording any aircraft discrepancies in accordance with SOPs.
- Overseeing and ensuring proper execution of all aircraft ground servicing activities, including fueling, oil, and oxygen services, in line with SOPs.
- Delivering comprehensive passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, while consistently providing an unparalleled level of customer service and accommodating special passenger needs.
- Applying Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to foster clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel across all operational phases.
Service Excellence & Client Experience:
- Providing superior service to aircraft owners and passengers, proactively identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance the overall EJM service experience.
- Investigating and resolving any service deviations efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborating seamlessly with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure a consistently exceptional service experience for all clients, adeptly resolving conflicts and challenges.
Professional Proficiency & Compliance:
- Diligently maintaining all required regulatory and company-mandated training and recency of experience.
- Strictly adhering to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and promptly reporting any safety or non-compliance concerns through established channels.

Required Certifications & Licenses
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Experience
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional aviation experience.
Qualifications & Minimum Requirements
- Demonstrated prior experience in corporate or business aviation operations is highly preferred.
- Possession of an FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (Embraer Legacy 500).
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, including physical demands and operational duties.
- Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- PIC Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
- Jet Time: 500 hours
