Second in Command (SIC) Pilot: Midsize Jet Operations
Part 91 and Part 135 Flight Operations
Jet Linx, a leading private aviation company, is actively seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Second in Command (SIC) for its Midsize Jet aircraft fleet. The successful candidate will be a critical member of the flight crew, ensuring safe and efficient execution of high-level Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations.
Candidates must currently reside, or be prepared to relocate, within a strict two-hour call-out time radius of their assigned home base to ensure operational readiness and responsiveness.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements
Prospective SICs must meet the following baseline flight experience criteria:
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Preferred Qualifications
While the minimum requirements are mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:
- Demonstrated completion of Initial or Recurrent 142 training specific to the aircraft type within the last twenty-four (24) months.
Certifications and General Requirements
The applicant must satisfy the following professional and legal requirements:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the immediate ability to obtain the ATP certificate.
- Current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Possession of a current, valid passport.
- Proof of eligibility to legally work in the United States (US).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
