Position Summary
Executive Jet Management is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Challenger 350 aircraft. This prestigious position is based in Cincinnati, OH (KLUK) and operates under Part 91 regulations within a dedicated three-pilot account, which is robustly supported by a skilled Maintenance Technician. The Pilot in Command bears the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft, meticulously adhering to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an unparalleled service experience to passengers.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Pilot in Command will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Ensuring the Safe and Compliant Operation of Flight:
- Verifying that all crewing and trip assignments adhere strictly to company and regulatory standards.
- Completing comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assigned mission.
- Utilizing the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to effectively lead required briefings and proactively mitigate operational risks.
- Complying rigorously with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating seamlessly with company personnel as required.
- Acting as the designated Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator, in strict accordance with company policy.
- Executing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including a thorough verification of the aircraft's maintenance status, to ensure complete mission readiness.
- Recording all aircraft discrepancies meticulously in adherence to company SOPs.
- Overseeing and ensuring the proper accomplishment of all aircraft ground servicing items, such as fueling, oil, and oxygen, according to SOPs.
- Conducting detailed passenger briefings in compliance with company policy and regulations, delivering the highest level of customer service, and accommodating any special passenger needs.
- Applying Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to facilitate clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Providing premium quality service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Investigating and resolving service deviations promptly and professionally.
- Collaborating effectively with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure a consistent and superior service experience for all owners and passengers.
- Addressing conflicts and challenges diplomatically and constructively.
- Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Sustaining all required regulatory and company training, and maintaining current recency of experience.
- Complying fully with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting any safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 4-6 years of professional aviation experience is required.
- Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is highly preferred.
- Possession of an FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (Challenger 350 preferred/required).
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, including the physical demands inherent in flight operations.
- Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
