Role Overview

EJM is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced candidates for a Challenger 350 Pilot in Command (PIC) position, based at Cincinnati, OH (KLUK). This pivotal role is part of a dedicated three-pilot account, comprehensively supported by an on-site Maintenance Technician, operating exclusively under Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 91. The Pilot in Command holds final responsibility for ensuring that the Challenger 350 aircraft is operated in a safe, fully compliant, and highly efficient manner, while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:

  • Ensures that crewing and trip assignments are in full compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes all necessary flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assigned mission.
  • Utilizes the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead all required briefings and proactively mitigate potential operational risks.
  • Adheres strictly to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains effective coordination with all relevant company personnel.
  • Acts as the designated Grounds Security Coordinator and In-Flight Security Coordinator, as defined by company policy.
  • Executes all comprehensive aircraft pre-flight tasks, including a thorough assessment of the aircraft's maintenance status, to ensure the aircraft is fully mission-capable. All aircraft discrepancies are recorded accurately in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Monitors and ensures the meticulous accomplishment of all aircraft ground servicing items, such as fueling, oil replenishment, and oxygen servicing, in adherence to SOPs.
  • Conducts all passenger briefings in full compliance with company policy and aviation regulations, while delivering the highest level of customer service and accommodating any special needs of passengers (e.g., physically challenged).
  • Applies Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.

Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:

  • Provides superior quality service to aircraft owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
  • Regularly investigates and effectively resolves any service deviations to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent and elevated service experience to owners and passengers.
  • Resolves conflicts and challenges in a professional and acceptable manner, maintaining a harmonious operational environment.

Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:

  • Maintains all regulatory and company-required training, ensuring currency and recency of experience.
  • Complies fully with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports any safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate designated channels.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is highly preferred.
  • Possession of an FAA Type rating in the Challenger 350 (or applicable fleet) is required.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.
  • Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
    • Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
    • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
    • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
    • PIC Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours
