Purpose of Position
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is ultimately responsible for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC must adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience to passengers. This position is part of a five-pilot account supported by two Maintenance Technicians flying under Part 91 operations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring Safe Operation of Flight:

Ensure crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.

Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.

Utilize Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.

Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel.

Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.

Complete all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying aircraft maintenance status, to ensure mission capability.

Record all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.

Ensure all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished per SOPs.

Complete passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations.

Deliver the highest level of customer service and accommodate any special needs of passengers, including those with physical challenges.

Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all phases of operation.
Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:

Provide quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.

Investigate and resolve service deviations.

Collaborate with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience for owners and passengers.

Resolve conflicts and challenges in an acceptable manner.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:

Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.

Comply with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and report safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications and Experience

4-6 years of experience.

Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.

FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet is required.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.

Minimum Flight Time Requirements:

Total flight time: 3500 hours

Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours

Pilot in Command: 2000 hours

PIC MEL: 500 hours

Instrument: 300 hours

Jet: 500 hours
