Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Challenger 3500 Captain to join an operation based at the KBNA airport. The role requires a candidate who excels as a team member and consistently pursues excellence. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure the safe operation of the Challenger 3500 aircraft.
  • Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and procedures, including but not limited to:
    • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
    • Performing pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Completing thorough checks of weather and facilities for the planned route, including alternates.
    • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Maintaining the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
    • Accurately completing all trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

  • Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a type rating for the Challenger 3500 or comparable aircraft.
  • Experience flying mid-size or larger corporate aircraft is a requirement.
  • Possession of a first-class medical certificate is mandatory.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis is required.
  • Completion of KBNA International procedures training annually is necessary.
  • Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive of KBNA, or willingness to relocate is required.

Additional Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including geographic location, experience level, aircraft/equipment type, job responsibilities, required training, and the specific needs of the assigned account.
