Pilot/Captain Position: Minimum Requirements and Desired Experience

Our organization is seeking highly qualified and dedicated aviation professionals for an immediate Captain position. The following criteria outline the mandatory qualifications and highly valued experience necessary to meet the demanding operational standards of this role. Applicants must meet all minimum requirements to be considered for employment.

Essential Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following foundational requirements:

  • The candidate must hold a current and active FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with a Multi-Engine Land rating.
  • A previously acquired turbojet type rating is mandatory.
  • The applicant must possess a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate, or demonstrate the immediate ability to secure one.
  • The candidate must present a professional and unblemished flight record, free from any accidents, incidents, or regulatory sanctions within the preceding five (5) years.

Highly Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Preference will be significantly extended to candidates demonstrating exceptional command experience, operational readiness, and advanced professional training:

Flight Time and Command Experience

  • A comprehensive minimum of 3,000 hours Total Time.
  • A minimum of 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • At least 250 hours PIC in turbine-powered aircraft.

Operational and Training Background

  • Demonstrated professional experience operating within high-demand, on-demand charter environments.
  • Recent or previous professional simulator-based training completed at recognized institutions such as FlightSafety International (FSI) or Simuflite.

Vetting and General Requirements

  • Possession of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • The applicant must possess a clean and verifiable driving record.
  • The candidate must successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation.
  • Successful placement is contingent upon passing all required drug screening tests.
  • The ability to handle moderate physical demands, specifically the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, is required.
