Jetvia, a leader in executive jet charter services for over 35 years, is seeking a professional Lear 60 Pilot in Command. The Role
The Captain serves as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring safe, technically accurate, and superior air transportation. This role requires a professional demeanor, as the Captain acts as the face of Jetvia when interacting with executive clients and charter partners.
Key Responsibilities

Operate aircraft safely during taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines and Jetvia Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).

Perform comprehensive flight planning, including weather analysis, weight and balance calculations, fuel planning, and performance data verification.

Lead passenger interactions, including pre-flight greetings, safety briefings, and itinerary verification.

Supervise and direct the First Officer and coordinate all assigned crew member functions.

Serve as the Inflight Security Coordinator for all missions.

Maintain the professional appearance of the aircraft and conduct thorough pre-flight inspections.

Communicate maintenance discrepancies and complete all required documentation with precision.
Requirements
Required Qualifications

FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time; minimum 500 hours multi-engine time.

Lear 60 Type Rating with at least 300 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).

Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.

Superior customer service skills.

Physical ability to perform all aircraft operations and passenger service duties.

Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Residency within driving distance of approved crew bases (ATL, AUS, BNA, BOS, BWI, CLT, DAL, DCA, DEN, DFW, ELP, EWR, FLL, HOU, IAD, IAH, JFK, LAS, LAX, LGA, MDW, MIA, MSP, OAK, ORD, PBI, PHL, PHX, SAT, SEA, SFO, SLC, STL).
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

3,000 hours total flight time and 1,000 hours multi-engine time.

Previous Part 135 operational experience as Pilot in Command.
