Foundation Automotive is seeking a CO-Captain or Second-in-Command for our CE-680 Citation Sovereign. In this position you’ll have the opportunity to lead ensure safe and efficient transportation of our executives and personnel.
Duties include overseeing flight operations including Flight Planning, Weather, Aircraft Status and adhering to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Assume overall responsibility for the safety and operation of the company's aircraft as the Pilot in Command.
Plan and execute flight operations, including pre-flight checks, flight plans, fuel calculations, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.
Safely transport company executives and personnel to various destinations, providing exceptional customer service throughout the journey.
Maintain proficiency in operating the aircraft used by the company.
Collaborate with aviation support staff, including the co-captain or co-pilot to ensure smooth operations.
Verifying current aircraft status to ensure they meet all safety and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated with industry trends, aviation regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize flight operations.
Prepare accurate flight records, including flight time, fuel consumption, maintenance records, and incident reports.
Coordinate with ground transportation services and other logistical arrangements to ensure seamless travel experiences for passengers.
Demonstrate strong leadership by mentoring and providing guidance to aviation team members.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pilot, preferably with experience in corporate or private aviation.
Excellent flying skills with experience operating different types of aircraft.
Proficient knowledge of aviation regulations, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
Strong decision-making abilities and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with executives, passengers, and team members.
Highly organized with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, based on flight schedules.
Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
