Aviation Pilot - [Airline Name]
This role presents an opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced pilot to contribute to the safety, efficiency, and success of [Airline Name]'s flight operations.
Job Purpose:
The Pilot is responsible for conducting assigned flights in strict adherence to the Company Operational Manual and all relevant Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. The primary focus is to ensure the highest levels of safety, security, and efficiency during every flight. The Pilot will support and guide the flight and cabin crew, effectively manage emergencies and unexpected situations, and maintain control of the aircraft to guarantee a successful flight experience and a positive corporate image.
Responsibilities:
- Fly aircraft from one destination to another according to established schedules and approved flight plans.
- Act as the ultimate responsible party for the aircraft during assigned flights, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- Minimum 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum 800 hours of PIC experience on the A320 family of aircraft.
- Minimum 5,000 hours of total flight experience.
- Preference given to candidates with experience as a Training Evaluator (TRE), Training Instructor (TRI), or Line Training Captain (LTC).
- Valid licenses, including a Class 1 medical certificate and a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification at Level 4 or above.
- Appropriate Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) preferred.
- Successful completion of technical and psychometric assessments, as well as a Medical Fitness Check-up for Pilots, according to Company and CAA standards.
- Demonstrated proficiency in safety and emergency response procedures. Formal qualifications in this area are advantageous.
- Experience with basic airport security procedures and regulations is a plus.
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) training is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with IATA principles and standards related to security is advantageous.
- Proficient in aircraft systems, Microsoft Office, internet and web searches, technical report writing, and presentations.
- Experience with low-cost airlines is highly desirable but not mandatory.
