First Officer - A320 Family
This role demands a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to conduct scheduled flights in accordance with the company's operational manual and all relevant Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations. The successful candidate will prioritize safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort, while exhibiting strong leadership and the ability to manage all aspects of the flight operation, including emergency situations. The First Officer will act as the ultimate responsible party for the aircraft during assigned flights, providing guidance and support to the flight and cabin crew, and maintaining a positive corporate image.
Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned flights adhering strictly to approved flight plans and schedules.
- Maintain unwavering adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Effectively manage all aspects of the flight, including emergency response.
- Provide support and guidance to the flight and cabin crew.
- Ensure efficient and comfortable passenger experience.
Experience, Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum 800 hours PIC experience on A320 family aircraft.
- Minimum 5000 hours total flight experience.
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate and Instrument Rating (IR).
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) – ATPL preferred.
- Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certificate, Level 4 or above.
- Proven ability to pass technical and psychometric assessments, and meet Company/CAA medical fitness standards for pilots.
- Completion of safety and emergency response training; formal qualification advantageous.
- Experience in airport security procedures and regulations is highly beneficial.
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) training is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with IATA security principles and standards is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in aircraft systems, Microsoft Office Suite, internet and web search, technical report writing, and presentations.
- Experience with low-cost airlines is desirable but not essential.
- Preference will be given to candidates with TRE/TRI/LTC experience.
