Flight Instructor Position at FlightSafety International
FlightSafety International, the world's premier provider of aviation training and simulation technology, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Flight Instructor to join our team. We offer training to pilots, technicians, and other aviation professionals from around the globe, utilizing the world's largest fleet of advanced full-flight simulators across our Learning Centers in the United States, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom.
Purpose of the Position:
The Flight Instructor will deliver exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction, adhering strictly to all aviation regulations and FlightSafety's established training principles.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive ground and simulator training for clients enrolled in core, specialty, or enrichment courses.
- Develop and prepare high-quality training materials tailored to client needs and aligned with the applicable curriculum.
- Evaluate trainee progress meticulously, providing constructive feedback and recommending appropriate qualification or further training.
- Maintain accurate and detailed training records for each client, ensuring transparency and facilitating their successful completion of objectives.
- Proactively identify and address potential training issues, seeking support as needed.
- Maintain all necessary instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of, or previous holding of, an FAA or EASA ATPL license.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of flight time as a pilot of multi-pilot aircraft; OR, for single-pilot aircraft types, a minimum of 1,500 hours in multi-pilot operations plus 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on single-pilot aircraft.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated excellence in listening and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
