Senior Flight Instructor
FlightSafety International, the world's leading professional aviation training company, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Flight Instructor. This role is crucial in meeting the diverse needs of clients while adhering to all applicable aviation regulations and FlightSafety training principles.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive ground and simulator training for pilots participating in core, specialty, or enrichment courses.
- Develop and prepare high-quality training materials that support the delivery of customized training programs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and established curricula.
- Tailor training scenarios to address the unique learning objectives of each client.
- Adapt instructional methodologies to create personalized training experiences, catering to diverse learning styles.
- Assess trainee progress, providing recommendations for qualification or further development as necessary.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate training records, supporting each client's success in achieving their training goals.
- Offer constructive solutions to client training challenges, drawing upon extensive knowledge and practical experience.
- Maintain instructor qualifications in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a role model, contributing significantly to both the organization's overall success and the quality of the customer experience.
- Uphold and advocate for FlightSafety Instructor Performance Standards.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

- Utilizing hand and arm movements, as well as the ability to talk and hear.
- Standing, walking, sitting, and maneuvering within confined spaces.
- Exerting pressure with both feet on rudder controls and/or antitorque.
- Reaching and manipulating numerous controls from the instructor's chair.
- Entering and exiting the simulator device safely.
- Moving between instruction stations in a classroom environment.
- Safely exiting a malfunctioning simulator, which could be in a pitched position.
- Possessing required vision, including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Working in proximity to moving mechanical parts and possibly in high places and varying weather conditions.
- Potentially experiencing exposure to chemicals, varying temperatures, electrical and radiation risks.
The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
