Flight Instructor - Rotorcraft

About the Role:
The Flight Instructor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction. This individual will be responsible for shaping the skills and knowledge of future aviators, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive ground and simulator training for pilots, encompassing core, specialty, and enrichment courses.
- Develop and refine engaging training materials tailored to specific client needs and aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Evaluate trainee progress meticulously, recommending qualification or identifying areas requiring additional training.
- Maintain meticulous training records, documenting each client's journey and supporting their successful achievement of training objectives.
- Proactively identify and address potential client training challenges.
- Remain current with regulatory requirements and maintain all necessary Instructor qualifications.
Qualifications:
- This position mandates prior rotorcraft experience.
- Must possess an unrestricted ATP certificate or an equivalent ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Individuals without an ATP certificate must fulfill the requirements outlined in 14 CFR part 61.153 and 14 CFR part 61.64, specifically excluding any Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitations.
- A minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating is required.
- Experience under FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time is desirable.
- Willingness to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires physical dexterity and the ability to:
- Manipulate simulator controls, including rudder and anti-torque pedals.
- Access and maneuver within the simulator environment, including entering and exiting via a ramp and navigating a potentially pitched attitude during malfunctions.
- Move comfortably between teaching stations within the classroom.
