Instructor Pilot
Flexjet, a global leader in private aviation and an award-winning organization specializing in premium private jet travel, is seeking an experienced Instructor Pilot to join the team. Operating a fleet of over 230 aircraft with a team of 1,200 pilots, Flexjet provides fractional ownership, leasing, and jet card services to clients worldwide. This position is based at the CAE Training Center in Lake Nona, Florida.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Instructor Pilot is responsible for the delivery of pilot training courses through direct interaction with Captains and First Officers, as well as conducting proficiency evaluations. Key responsibilities include:

Providing simulator flight training and classroom instruction across all required subjects.

Assisting in the development of courseware, training materials, and curriculum certification for simulator, FTD, and FMS devices.

Delivering initial, recurrent, and new hire training covering Crew Resource Management (CRM), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklist philosophy, and briefing methods.

Ensuring training procedures align with actual operations and company specifications.

Maintaining currency on regulatory issues impacting Flight Operations.

Performing quality inspections to ensure crewmember and company standards are met.

Supporting the Company’s Safety Risk Management, Security, and Quality systems.

Fostering a culture of safety, continuous learning, and professional integrity.

Managing time efficiently to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.

Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Education and Experience Requirements

FAA ATP with a type rating in at least one Flexjet fleet aircraft.

Minimum of one year of experience as a Flexjet pilot is preferred.

Thorough knowledge of simulator-based flight training program structures and current instructional design technology.

Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, the Flexjet Flight Operations Manual, and internal organizational policies.
Required Skills

Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Ability to act as a company liaison with the FAA, TSA, and other governmental agencies.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills to facilitate effective instruction and provide constructive performance feedback.

Ability to impartially judge and evaluate pilot performance.

Strong administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and submit documentation in a timely manner.

Proficiency in computer applications, including CAMP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
