Position Overview

This Pilot role is based in Saint Paul, MN at STP Airport, supporting a three-aircraft account flying part 91 to domestic destinations. The flight crew for this account consists of seven pilots supported by three dedicated Maintenance Technicians. This position requires the pilot to reside within driving distance of Saint Paul Airport, as it is not commutable.

Key Responsibilities

The Pilot ensures the safe operation of flights and delivers an exceptional service experience while maintaining proficiency and compliance. This includes:

  • Ensuring crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks as required for each assignment.
  • Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
  • Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel as required.
  • Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
  • Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying the maintenance status of the aircraft to ensure it is mission capable, and recording all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Ensuring all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished in accordance with SOPs.
  • Completing passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation, delivering the highest level of customer service, and meeting any special needs of passengers.
  • Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
  • Providing quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and resolving service deviations.
  • Collaborating with fellow crew members and internal partners to provide a consistent service experience, resolving conflict and challenges effectively.
  • Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
  • Complying with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.

Qualifications

Certifications and Licenses:

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
  • First Class Medical Certificate

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience is required.
  • Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
  • FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (EMB-550) is preferred.

Minimum Flight Time Requirements:

  • Total flight time: 3500 hours
  • Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
  • PIC MEL: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 300 hours
  • Jet: 500 hours
