Airline Transport Pilot (Captain) - Chattanooga, TN

Unum seeks a highly qualified and experienced Airline Transport Pilot (Captain) to join our dynamic aviation team in Chattanooga, TN. This full-time position is instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of corporate flight operations.

Job Summary:

The Captain will serve as Pilot-in-Command, holding ultimate responsibility for the safety of passengers, crewmembers, and the comfortable, timely operation of the aircraft. This role involves supervising the flight crew, ensuring strict adherence to all FAA Regulations and the Unum Aviation Department Flight Operations manual. Responsibilities include determining optimal flight routes, speed, and timing for takeoff and landing to meet scheduling requirements. The Captain will also make critical decisions regarding potential delays, rerouting, or flight cancellations in coordination with the operations team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of corporate personnel, customers, and guests on company aircraft.
• Serve as Trip Captain, directly responsible for aircraft operation, FAA regulation compliance, aircraft performance limitations, weather briefing, fuel requirements, safety, and security.
• Verify and record all FAA-required flight records for each trip.
• Provide an exceptional experience for all passengers.
• Actively participate in the Safety Management System.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President, Aviation.
• Fulfill all requirements for IS-BAO compliance.
• Attend mandatory semiannual flight training with Flight Safety International.
• Undertake other assigned duties as required when not actively flying.

Job Specifications:

• Possession of an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with a Multi-Engine Rating.
• Required multi-engine turbine experience.
• EMB-550 Type rating is preferred but not mandatory.
• Maintenance of a First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• A valid and current passport and radiotelephony license are required.

Base Salary Range: $109,100.00 - $224,000.00
