Challenger 300 Pilot in Command (PIC)
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, has been a distinguished leader in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977. EJM seeks a qualified and dedicated Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Challenger 300 aircraft based in Dallas, Texas (KDAL). This position supports a well-established two-pilot account, complemented by a dedicated maintenance technician, operating under EJM's Part 135 certificate. This account flies approximately 450 hours annually, primarily within the domestic United States.
The Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for ensuring the aircraft operates in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements, while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to clients. This is not a commutable position. Qualified candidates must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Dallas area.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Completes flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying the maintenance status, to ensure mission readiness. Records all aircraft discrepancies according to company SOPs.
- Ensures aircraft ground servicing items (fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished per SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation. Provides exceptional customer service, accommodating any special passenger needs.
- Employs Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provides quality service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Investigates and resolves service deviations.
- Collaborates with crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a consistent service experience. Resolves conflict and challenges constructively.
- Maintains all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
- Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
- Prior Part 135 experience is required.
- FAA Type rating in CL300 is preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
