First Officer - Wide Body Fleet

The Role
As a First Officer, you are an essential member of the flight deck team, collaborating with the Captain to ensure the safe, secure, and efficient operation of every flight. You will demonstrate technical expertise and professional leadership, adhering to rigorous safety standards.

Assist the Captain in all aspects of flight preparation, navigation, and operation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Perform continuous, independent monitoring of aircraft position, terrain, and weather.

Provide clear communication and support to facilitate effective decision-making.

Maintain high standards of discipline and professionalism.

Assume command in the event of Captain incapacitation in accordance with company procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
Etihad offers a competitive, tax-free annual package of up to AED 513,732 (USD 138,318), based on 75 flying hours per month. This includes a basic salary, flying pay, housing allowance, and relevant meal/layover allowances. Additional benefits include:

Candidate Requirements
Candidates must meet the General Eligibility criteria and either Criteria A or Criteria B.
General Eligibility

Flown an Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide body aircraft within the last 12 months.

Type rating on an Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide body aircraft valid for at least 2 months upon joining.

Unrestricted ATPL or valid frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state.

Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical.

Must be under the age of 50 at the time of joining.

ICAO Level 4 or better English language proficiency.
Criteria A

Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time.

Minimum 1,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit MPA.

Minimum 1,000 hours on any Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide body aircraft.
Criteria B

Minimum 3,000 hours total flying time.

Minimum 2,000 hours on any Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide body aircraft.
