First Officer - Wide Body Fleet
Etihad Airways is seeking experienced First Officers to join its Wide Body fleet. As a member of the flight deck team, the successful candidate will support the Captain in ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient operation of flights while maintaining the high standards of professionalism and technical excellence synonymous with the airline.
Role Responsibilities

Assist the Captain in all aspects of flight preparation, navigation, and operation in compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.

Conduct continuous, independent monitoring of aircraft position, terrain, and weather to ensure safe navigation.

Provide clear communication and support to the Captain to facilitate efficient decision-making.

Uphold strict standards of discipline, conduct, and personal appearance.

Assume command in the event of Captain incapacitation in accordance with company procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
Etihad offers a competitive, tax-free annual package with a potential earning capacity of up to AED 513,732 (USD 138,318), based on 75 flying hours per month. The package includes:

Base salary, flying pay, housing allowance, and layover/meal allowances.

Performance-based annual increments.

Education allowance: Up to AED 40,000 (primary) and AED 55,000 (secondary) per child, for up to three children.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the General Eligibility criteria plus either Criteria A or Criteria B:
Criteria A

Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time.

Minimum 1,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit multi-pilot aircraft (MPA).

Minimum 1,000 hours on any Airbus Wide Body Fly-By-Wire (FBW) or Boeing Wide Body aircraft.
Criteria B

Minimum 3,000 hours total flying time.

Minimum 2,000 hours on any Airbus Wide Body Fly-By-Wire (FBW) or Boeing Wide Body aircraft.
General Eligibility
-
Must have flown any Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide Body aircraft within the last 12 months.

Type rating on any Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide Body aircraft valid for at least two additional months at the time of joining.

Unrestricted ATPL or valid frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state (Frozen ATPL holders must provide theoretical knowledge exam results and course completion certification).

Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.

Must not have attained the age of 50 on the day of joining.

English language fluency (written and verbal) at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
