Compensation and Benefits
Etihad Airways offers a competitive annual package comprising basic salary, flying pay, housing allowance, and layover/meal allowances. Pilots have the opportunity to earn up to 513,732 AED (approximately USD 138,318) tax-free per annum, based on 75 hours of flying per month. Annual salary increments are based on performance. Additional benefits include:

The Role
The successful candidate will fulfill the responsibilities of a First Officer, operating under the direction of the Captain. Key duties include:
- Conducting flights in compliance with the current flight plan, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Captain's instructions when the Captain is not at the controls. The First Officer is responsible for notifying the Captain of any changes to the current flight plan, Air Traffic Control (ATC) instructions, or geographical position upon the Captain's return to controls.
- Assisting the Captain with any administrative duties related to the flight as requested.
- Confirming the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical position of the aircraft, ensuring safe terrain and weather clearance.
- Maintaining a high personal standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance at all times, serving as a representative of Etihad Airways.
Required Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 2500 hours of total flying time.
- A minimum of 1500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit (1) or high-performance military jet aircraft.
- Minimum 500 hours on Boeing aircraft.
- Currently flying on any Boeing aircraft.
- Must have flown any Boeing aircraft within the last 12 months.
- Boeing type rating must be valid for a minimum of 2 months at the time of joining.
- Hold a current and unrestricted ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Frozen ATPLs are not accepted unless held by a UAE citizen.
- Hold an unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.
- Maximum age of 50 years on the date of joining.
- English Language Fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or better.
- For hours accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours will be counted towards the required minimums.
